Tackle Wedding at Trickle Creek Events in Weatherford, TX

Here’s your inside look into my all time favorite wedding, Matt and Amy Tackle.

What made Matt and Amy’s wedding so unique (besides the gems they are), they only had a reception, no ceremony. How cool is that? Matt and Amy got married privately prior to their wedding reception, and surprised guests with the big news! They hosted the most fun and relaxed wedding reception at Trickle Creek Events in Weatherford, TX.

While the wedding party was still getting ready I decided to use that time for detail shots of the rings, shoes, cologne, perfume, jewelry, etc.

The ultimate hype men, aka groomsmen.

I started off by capturing the groomsmen, and they had such a good time hyping Matt up to see his Bride.

The first look was so sweet.

Matt and Amy’s love is so genuine and fun. I had the time of my life getting to know them. Since there was no ceremony, they had a first look and then we used that time to capture these beautiful photos.

Let’s go girls.

*Cue Shania Twain* The bridesmaids had so much fun together, as you can see by Amy’s many goofy faces. The show was stolen when Amy’s nephew joined in on the fun, he is too cute!

Seriously, Matt and Amy were the most chill couple ever.

We took a few photos of the wedding party and family of the Bride and Groom while waiting for guests to arrive. I think these photos speak for how relaxed and fun the day was.

This reception was so cozy! They served the most amazing comfort food, the funnel cake was the absolute best! As you can see everyone had so much fun and they even changed into t-shirts.

Matt and Amy’s wedding was not my favorite wedding because it was just a chill reception; their wedding was my favorite because I left knowing I was loved and appreciated by two awesome individuals. I still talk to Matt and Amy and it’s been a year. They are truly some of the most special people I have had the pleasure to get to know.
