How I Serve My Clients Through Photography

As a photographer I aspire to tell individual love stories, because I believe your love story is unique.

When Tanya and her fiancé Warren asked me to be their photographer they specifically told me they wanted to take hiking photos, because that is what they love to do as a couple. I am the type of photographer who loves to serve my clients through my photography; so when they said “hiking photos”, I think I delivered.

I live for telling stories, so I actually get to know my clients before the shoot is even booked.

Because how can I tell your love story if I don’t even know you? After you send me an inquiry, I like to send several questions to get to know you and your boyfriend, fiancé, or husband the BEST I can before I even meet you. This makes our time together so much more comfortable, and I also know what is important to you and your partner during the photoshoot process.

How can I best serve you?

My biggest goal is making sure I am serving you, my client. With experience and maturity I learned to ask questions, and actually care for my client’s needs first. If you want to roll around in the grass then let’s freaking do it! But, if you are uncomfortable with doing that, I am completely okay with doing something else.

Another way I serve my clients is my professionalism.

As a business owner, I care about my reputation and how I run my business. I believe I do this by:

• responding to direct messages, emails, and inquiries as quickly as possible;
• keeping communication off socials and on my communication and booking site HoneyBook (you can respond through your email, but I recommend clicking the link to go to the Portal);
• having a professional website;
• using pricing guides;
• using a contract to protect both myself and my client;
• sending my client’s a gallery with high resolution and web size images available for downloading; and
• I am sure there are many more but this is what I can think of at the moment!
